GDRFA Dubai, World Bank organize webinar on technology performance of digital sharing

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organized a webinar in collaboration with the World Bank and Digital Dubai Authority to discuss ways to establish a sophisticated digital system and boost its powerful and effective presence.

Entitled " Technology performance to build digital sharing in Dubai," the webinar was hosted through Microsoft Teams.

H.E. Lt. General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, said that the online event aimed to explore new ways of promoting the efficiency of executing transactions by utilizing IT systems to manage data flow, streamline corporate processes, and enhance efficiency, performance, and accuracy.

Al Marri emphasised that improving the capacity for a rapid and timely data transfer would significantly help upgrade internal communications.

The webinar was attended by Ali Halawi, Senior Public Sector Specialist, Middle East & North Africa, World Bank, Practice Manager in the Governance Global Practice of the World Bank Group Middle East and North Africa Region, and Miki Matsuura, Public Sector Specialist, World Bank, MENA.
