His Excellency Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA in Dubai, said: “Our country has proved to the whole world that there is no such word as ‘impossible’ in the UAE’s dictionary, and despite the unprecedented circumstances that the world is going through because of the pandemic, our country stuck to its Global Arabic Program and launched ‘Hope Probe’ as planned. Therefore, GDRFA Dubai is committed to its plans to instil happiness in its employees.” His Excellency Al Marri added that the Directorate is keen to support all kind of initiatives that contribute to enhancing the quality of life within a pleasant and positive working environment. Consequently, this will improve the competence and the performance of its employees, as well as their productivity. Therefore, GDRFA is keen to build on the positive results of the previous exhibition, which achieved a satisfaction rating of 93%. Major General Awad Al Awaim, Assistant Director General of Human and Financial Resources Sector, said: “In line with GDRFA’s efforts to make its employees happy, the Eid Al-Adha online exhibition will enhance the commercial activities to contribute towards economic growth while also promoting the happiness levels of our employees. It is very relevant in supporting small and medium enterprises as well.” Al Oweim added that this exhibition will enhance Happiness Card holders’ experience as they get to enjoy discounts provided by GDRFA while buying all necessary goods for Eid Al Adha celebrations. It will facilitate time and effort to get special services over the day, increasing satisfaction levels of the staff and in turn their productivity. He added that the exhibition will enable Happiness Card holders to obtain a number of various products and services in a smooth and fast way, and at great prices. Maryam Al Maleh, Acting Head of the Happiness and Positivity Department and the Head of the Happiness Card, pointed out that the exhibition provides a universal shopping platform featuring the best offers and products from the owners of commercial stores who are members of the Happiness Card initiative. The exhibition is being held over 8 days from July 23 to 30 via the smart application ‘KAFAATI,’ which was launched for the employees of GDRFA in Dubai, and another application ‘SAADATI’ launched for their relatives. More than 60 commercial entities are taking part in the exhibition, including men’s and women’s clothing stores, sweets and perfumes stores, and others. These stores can meet Eid-related and other general needs of the clients. Maryam asserted that the Happiness Card provides special discounts over the year, one can avail them by going to the website and entering the discount code, or via Whatsapp or calling for delivery, noting that the discounts offered during the exhibition are higher than those offered by Happiness Card otherwise.
