His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Department of Naturalization and Residency in Dubai (DNRD) praised the DNRD representatives in the Dubai International Airport (DIA) for their ongoing efforts to provide best practice services to travelers coming through land and air ports of Dubai. He highlighted the cooperation and collaboration of staff to achieve the strategic objectives of management, which contributed to the Department’s third place ranking in the category of customer satisfaction in the recent Dubai Government Excellence Program awards. Major General Al Marri said: “The Dubai International Airport is often the first or last point of contact for travelers coming to and leaving the UAE. Our services are a major part of the DIA process which is why we need to provide top quality services, good hospitality and efficient processing to leave the best impression on visitors.” This statement came during a round of inspection by Major-General Al Marri of the DNRD facilities at the DIA. The trip was one of a series of inspection tours planned for this year. The inspection routines aim to monitor and assess the current status of DNRD facilities at air and land entry points and to identify possible challenges. Major General Al Marri was accompanied on the inspection by Major General Colonel Salah bin Salloum, Assistant Director for air and land ports, Major Said al Mu’alla Vice Assistant Director for air and land entry points, Major Awad Al Aweem, Assistant Director for Administration and Finance, Major Omar Al Shamsi, Director of the Department of Passport Control Terminal (3), and a number of public sector officials. As part of the inspection, Major General Al Marri visited terminals one, two and three to examine the current status and quality of the DNRD facilities to welcome visitors and maintain the security of Dubai’s land and air entry points. These inspections come as part of DNRD’s objective to improve customer service and efficiency.
