Addition of companion "family members" in residency visa

1- Sponsor’s passport
2- Certified Identity card registration extract
3- Page of adding a companion in the passport
4- In case of given birth inside the country, adding the child in the passport and birth certificate

GDRFA Website:
1. Login to the website
2. Register a new user account (in case there is no account)
3. Select the required service
4. Attach the required documents
5. Pay the fees due for the service
6. Submit the application

AMER Center
1. Head to one of AMER service centers
2. Select the required service at the receptionist
3. Submit the required documents to the service employee
4. Pay the fees due for the service
5. Submit the application

Note: a text message + an email is sent to the customer with the status of the application:
• If there are missing documents on the application, the customer is notified of the need to attach the missing documents within 30 days, and if the missing documents are not attached, the application will be canceled.
• In case there are no missing documents in the application, the customer will be notified of the approval and the approved application will be sent by e-mail.

1. Passport must be valid for more than six months
2. If the added person is companion "family member" in a visa, s/he needs to submit: original entry permit (in addition to the requirements mentioned in the field of service requirements )
3. If the added person is (inside the UAE) the following attachments must be presented:
1. Employment contract from private sector
2. Salary certificate from the government entity
3. Birth certificate
4. A recent personal photo with a white background for the sponsored (in addition to the requirements mentioned in the field of service requirements )
