GDRFA Dubai celebrates 92nd Saudi National Day

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai celebrates the 92nd Saudi National Day which falls on September 23 each year, with a series of activities and events, including lighting up the smart gates in Dubai airports in green. The celebration reflects the deep-rooted relationships and strategic partnership between the two countries to improve the quality of life for Saudi nationals.

Passport control officers at Dubai airports welcomed Saudi visitors to the UAE with flowers, flags, Emirati coffee and souvenirs in appreciation of the unique ties between the two peoples who are bound by religion, blood, language, history, culture and traditions.

As part of the festivities, smart gates were covered in green. Arriving and departing passengers received “Du Happiness Cards” and their passports have been stamped with the phrase "#Together Forever KSA-UAE" and the logo of the 92nd Saudi National Day, while the sounds of the Saudi National Anthem was playing at the venue. 

The UAE and Saudi Arabia have strong and growing economic, cultural and political ties under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and his brother King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

His Excellency Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai underscored the deep relationships with Saudi Arabia thanks to the efforts of the leaders and rulers in the UAE as well as the shared values and close ties between the two peoples. “Saudi visitors are always welcomed in the UAE as their second home country and the General Directorate is committed to support Saudi passengers and facilitate their travel and entry process whether during this special national occasion or any time of the year”. He added.

The UAE celebrate Saudi Arabia National Day on 23rd September every year under the theme and with the hashtag "#Together Forever KSA-UAE”.
