Prominent UAE figures Explore GDRFA's tech offerings at GITEX Global 2023

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has taken centre stage at GITEX Global 2023, the largest tech and startup event in the world. The event commenced on Monday and will run until October 20th at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). GDRFA's stand has emerged as a major attraction for visitors keen to explore the latest technological developments and projects.

On the second day of the event, located at Sheikh Saeed Hall, the GDRFA stand welcomed prominent figures, including Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, and HE Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police.

During their visit, the high-profile officials were briefed about the displayed innovative projects and smart technologies aimed at advancing sustainable development and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Al Falasi, Deputy Assistant Director General for Smart Services at GDRFA, highlighted that the second day of the event saw a notable increase in visitors, especially among individuals and professionals from the technology industry, who were keen to learn about the latest developments shown at the exhibition.

The GDRFA platform offered visitors a pre-registration service for smart gates service, allowing individuals to register on the platform conveniently throughout the exhibition. Visitors can complete the registration process by presenting their passport or Emirates ID. Also on the second day, the GDRFA platform showcased the latest developments on its smart application, designed to deliver services to customers more efficiently and with higher quality.
