In line with its role in supporting major national events and reinforcing the position of the United Arab Emirates as a global platform for shaping the future of governments, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) has adopted a special passport stamp bearing the logo of the World Governments Summit 2026, to welcome summit participants arriving through Dubai’s air ports. This initiative reflects Dubai’s status as an international hub for government innovation and future foresight.
This initiative aligns with GDRFA Dubai’s role in supporting major national and international events and in reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global center for government innovation and international cooperation. The stamp serves as a welcoming message that reflects the UAE’s vision of enhancing the visitor experience and delivering advanced services that match the significance of the global event. In addition, informational cards were distributed to participants, providing details about the summit and its objectives, to raise awareness and enable visitors to engage with the summit’s activities.
The World Governments Summit 2026 will be held in Dubai from 3 to 5 February under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.” The summit brings together thought leaders, decision-makers, and experts from more than 150 governments, with wide participation that includes heads of state and government, ministers, and international organizations. The summit aims to advance government policies, anticipate future governance tools, and strengthen international cooperation to address current global challenges. Its agenda features more than 320 interactive sessions and events covering effective leadership, societal well-being, the economy, city resilience, and future technologies, within a global platform dedicated to shaping strategic visions that contribute to driving growth and sustainable development worldwide.
