The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) held a press conference to officially announce the launch of the fourth season of the “Qayla” Program, in the presence of H.E. Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai; H.E. Abdullah bin Dalmook, CEO of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center, representing Al Oula Radio – the program’s Strategic Sponsor; H.E. Thani Al Zaffin, Director General and Board Member of Emaratech; Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, along with a number of leaders and officials from Dubai Residency, in addition to the program’s partners and sponsors, as well as media representatives from various platforms.
The conference also witnessed the announcement of the sponsors and partners, including Emaratech as the Gold Sponsor. Chalhoub Group, Legends Motors, Al Rais Travel, and flydubai were announced as Silver Sponsors of the program, alongside DW Travels and dnata as Bronze Sponsors.
The launch of the fourth season of the “Qayla” Program reaffirms GDRFA Dubai’s commitment to strengthening direct media engagement with the community and highlighting the program’s objectives and themes, which align with the Dubai Government’s priorities for 2026. The program reflects Dubai’s approach to developing government services, enhancing quality of life, and reinforcing social responsibility and Emirati national identity.
The program builds on a strong track record of achievements across its previous seasons, having delivered 183 radio episodes totaling 245 hours of live broadcasting, hosted 125 guests from government partners, and reached more than 1,300,000 listeners and followers—reflecting its position as an impactful media platform that strengthens community dialogue and reinforces partnership between government entities and the public.
During his speech at the conference, H.E. Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasized that the “Qayla” Program represents an extension of the Dubai Government’s approach in fostering a culture of direct communication with the community. He noted that media partnership constitutes a fundamental pillar in strengthening trust and shaping public awareness.
H.E. stated: “We believe at GDRFA Dubai that the media is a strategic partner in the development journey. Its role goes beyond reporting the news to contributing to the building of responsible community awareness. Through the ‘Qayla’ Program, we are committed to presenting sincere and transparent dialogue that reflects Dubai Government priorities and places people at the heart of every message and every service.”
In its new season, the program continues to host a distinguished group of government leaders and Directors General to discuss issues that directly impact society, showcase efforts to enhance government performance and improve services, and highlight models of institutional integration between GDRFA Dubai and other government entities.
The program also features interactive segments, including daily questions and competitions that encourage audience participation and add an engaging dimension to the episodes, reflecting the program’s commitment to community involvement and positive engagement.
The “Qayla” Program is broadcast on Al Oula Radio 107.4, affiliated with the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center, from Monday to Thursday during the Holy Month of Ramadan, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The program is supported by a number of partners and sponsors who have contributed to its continued success and community impact.
During the conference, GDRFA Dubai reaffirmed that the program represents a successful model of partnership between the media and the government sector, and an effective platform for constructive dialogue. It reflects the Directorate’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communication tools, enhancing institutional partnerships, and delivering world-class government services based on innovation, efficiency, and community-centered engagement.
