His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai), affirmed that the anniversary of the unification of the UAE Armed Forces represents a pivotal national milestone that reflects the depth of the wise leadership’s strategic vision. This vision laid, on 6 May 1976, the foundation for a cohesive federal model built on unity and strengthened pillars of power and stability.
His Excellency noted that the Golden Jubilee of this occasion embodies an exceptional journey of qualitative achievements accomplished by the UAE Armed Forces—not only in building advanced defense capabilities, but also in reinforcing the country’s position as a force supporting security and peace at both regional and international levels, through an integrated system that combines readiness, efficiency, and commitment to human values.
He added that the security and stability enjoyed by the UAE form the foundation upon which various vital sectors operate, including the system of work in the Emirate of Dubai, which continues to enhance its global competitiveness and quality of life within a safe and stable environment that supports growth and openness to the world.
His Excellency emphasized that GDRFA Dubai draws from this national occasion the values of belonging and responsibility, and continues its role in supporting the security and stability ecosystem by developing proactive services and innovative solutions that facilitate the movement of people and enhance the efficiency of port management—reflecting the integration of institutional roles in serving the nation and consolidating its position as a global model for security and prosperity.
His Excellency concluded by affirming that the anniversary of the unification of the Armed Forces will remain a symbol of unity and strength, and a driving force to continue working in a spirit of one team to preserve the nation’s achievements and advance its development journey, in line with the leadership’s aspirations and reinforcing the UAE’s position among the world’s most stable and advanced countries.
