Service Details
Issuance of the virtual work residence permit
When a foreigner engages in remote work for an organization outside the country, they are given a residence permit for virtual work without a guarantor or host inside the country for a year, subject to renewal.
Requirements
1. A colored personal photo (compulsory).
2. A copy of the passport of the beneficiary of the service (compulsory).
3. A copy of health insurance (compulsory).
4. The result of the medical fitness test (compulsory).
5. Proof of remote work outside the UAE (compulsory).
6. Salary certificate ($3,500) or its equivalent in foreign currency (compulsory).
7. ID receipt (compulsory).
Please note that the mandatory and optional documents may differ according to the data entered in the application.

1. Log in to the smart services system through (UAE Pass or username).
2. Search for the service to be applied for.
3. Fill in the application data, where applicable.
4. Pay the service fee (if any).

1. Visit the nearest Customer Happiness Centre.
2. Get the automated turn ticket and wait.
3. Submitting the application that fulfils all conditions and documents (if any) to the customer service employee.

1. Visit the nearest Amer Service Centre.
2. Get the automated turn ticket and wait.
3. Submitting the application that fulfils all conditions and documents (if any) to the customer service employee.

Terms And Conditions
1. The permit applicant provides proof that the work is being done remotely and with an outside organization.
2. The applicant must provide documentation proving that they make at least $3,500 (US) per month or the equivalent amount in other currencies.
