Association For Strategic Planning Awards
After competing with more than 200 governmental and private organizations globally with the global ASP in the field of strategic planning, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai won the American Richard Award from the Strategic Planning Association awards during the activities of the American organization's annual conference.
2021

In the tournament held by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, and Ports Security, the Dubai residence team placed first, and the women's team, which had eight players, took the top five spots. Sergeant Reem Jamal took first place, followed by Undersecretary Mira Al-Badou in second, (civilian) Asma Al-Suwaidi in third, Sergeant Hasnaa Muhammad in fourth, and Lieutenant Najla Buamim in fifth.
This competition fits into the administration's strong interest in seeing its staff members participate in team sports like these in order to highlight the value of sports in a variety of situations and conditions, improve staff members' physical health, foster a sense of teamwork, and spread the word about sports.

Championship of His Excellency the President of the Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality
The Dubai residency team placed first, second, and third in the 30-kilometer bicycle race sponsored by His Excellency the President of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security and held at Al Hudayriat Beach in Abu Dhabi.

Continual Improvement Subgroup
The "Happiness Card" initiative from Dubai Residency won among 86 participants from inside and outside the nation, as well as their families, in the Happiness category of the International Award for Innovation, Improvement, and Development.
The card allows them to view all offers and discounts that include various sectors and joint stock partnerships.

In 2018, 3 Terminal 3 employees received the ACE Customer Service Excellence Award awarded by Dubai Airports to honour outstanding achievements in the customer and employee experience.

In 2016, 14 employees of Terminal 3 employees received the ACE Customer Service Excellence Award, which is given by Dubai Airports to honour outstanding achievements in customer and employee experience.

2015
Dubai Award For Sustainable Transport
The General Department of Residence and Foreign Affairs has won the Sustainable Transport Award in the category of smart applications for the Home Work Initiative, as the department's "telecom work" experience has contributed to a 100% increase in employee productivity. The initiative has proved very successful, It benefited the administration, the staff and the community much, explaining that the Department had selected five competent female citizens with family needs that required their stay at home and had given them the option of working from home. Female employees issued electronic stays, renovated them and changed resident data from home, and the performance of female employees increased significantly, with each performing about 300 transactions per day, and the rate rose to more than 700 every day

"The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has advanced to the elite level after winning awards for being the best government organization, the best organization for implementing the Dubai Plan 2021, the best organization for efficiency and governance, and the best organization for innovation.
Additionally, it received scores of 94.1% in the Employee Happiness Study, 74.79% for best entity in the field of Emiratization, and 83% for best entity welcoming to people with ambition.
The investigation and follow-up sector's First Lieutenant / Nora Hamid Al-Awaim took home third place for being the best employee in the customer service department.
2012
Dubai Government Excellence Program
In the financially distinguished government agencies category, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai took first place in the Dubai Government Distinguished Performance Program in 2012. Additionally, Col. Khaled Nasser Al-Razouki took first place in the category of distinguished government workers.
