Issuance of an escort treatment visa for one or several entries
The foreigner is granted an escort visa for the purpose of accompanying the patient during his treatment period in UAE. The visa is for a single entry or for several entries and valid for 90 days or 180 days. In this case, the sponsor / host will be a health establishment that is licensed in UAE. The visa may be granted to the escort / accompany for treatment.

Fee for a 180-day treatment visa for one entry: AED 500.

In case an entry visa is granted to a companion for treatment, it is required that the companion enter UAE accompanied by the patient, and that the companion hold an entry visa similar to the patient’s entry visa (one entry or multiple entries). The companion is not extended unless the patient’s entry visa is extended. In all cases, the beneficiary must have medical insurance and the required financial security should be deposit.
