GDRFA Dubai organizes third Customer Council virtually

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai organized its third Customers Council virtually, under the theme “With your confidence, we shape our services.’ The session brought together a number of consumers and GDRFA officials, in line with the Directorate’s strategy to exchange new ideas, and discuss the challenges and the solutions to boost the spirit of work and collective thinking. The initiative also aims to involve costumers in the development of the services provided to them in an interactive environment to achieve their happiness.The council was held in the presence of Colonel AbdullSamad Hussein, Deputy Director General for leadership and Future Affairs; Lt. Col., Jamal bin Hammad, Director of Entry Permissions Department; Major Salim Muhammad bin Ali, Director of the Amer Department for Customer Happiness; and a number of senior officials and employees of the Directorate. Colonel AbdullSamad Hussein pointed out the importance of such meetings in improving and developing governmental services, in line with the orientations of our wise leadership that aim to enhance the happiness and the quality of services provided to customers. He noted that GDRFA Dubai is one of the leading entities in activating various innovative channels to facilitate communication among various segments of the society, through innovation workshops that the Directorate regularly organizes. These play a key role in improving the quality of life of the consumers, and provide proactive and innovative services that achieve their happiness and satisfaction. Major Salem bin Ali, Director of Amer Customer Happiness Department, said that GDRFA-Dubai focuses on its programs and plans to provide distinguished and exceptional services that keep pace with the government’s and the consumers’ aspirations. He added that GDRFA-Dubai continuously works to improve costumers’ experiences with various sectors in the Directorate and their strategic partners, by identifying their needs and expectations, based on the highest standards of efficiency, transparency and accuracy. Salwa Hassan, Head of the Trader Voice Department at Dubai Residence, said this meeting aims to enhance the ongoing communication with the internal and external consumers, and involve them in building the services provided by the Directorate. Their participation is also necessary in overcoming the challenges they are facing by further simplifying and integrating their experiences. He added that GDRFA’s team spirit is remarkable, as it provides excellent services, and that its goal is to serve the customer at his/her convenience.
