GDRFA Dubai Wins Six Accolades at ICP Chairman Excellence Awards

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has capped off its endeavours to improve the work environment and promote a culture of innovation and distinction by earning a bundle of accolades. 

 

The honours were bestowed upon GDRFA at the ICP Chairman Excellence Awards 2022 ceremony held last Thursday at the St. Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, emphasized that this recognition is a collective achievement, that was made possible thanks to the combined efforts of the team and their accumulated experiences.

He credited the GDRFA’s success in creating a culture of creativity and innovation to their shared values of teamwork, collaboration, partnership, and complementary roles, backed by a comprehensive system, which continuously strengthens the capabilities of GDRFA’s workforce.

The General Directorate has won six distinguished awards, including the prestigious "Leading Entity" award and recognition for "Best Initiative in Improving Quality of Life “Happiest Work Environment." 

The "Advisory Council for Foresight and Innovation" was also recognized for being the "Best Work Team or Committee." Furthermore, the Directorate was honoured with a series of individual awards. 

Lieutenant Mayed Al Shaer was named the "Best Young Employee," Major Khaled Al Hashemi won the "Best Scientific Research" award, and Warrant Officer Amer Al Jabri received the third-place award in the "Best Innovative Employee" category
